Summer Sailing Camp is available to children ages 5 through 17, and runs Monday-Friday from 9:00a-4:00p, with early drop-off being 8:00a and late pick-up at 4:30p.
Your child will experience the joy of sailing and learn the essential elements of boat handling, seamanship, water safety and sportsmanship in a safe and fun environment. Campers gain self-confidence as they master the skills of sailing, learn lifelong lessons that build character, foster teamwork, and strengthen respect for self, others, and the marine environment.
PBSC is dedicated to having Summer Sailing Camp this summer, while adhering to state and federal guidelines.
**If it is determined at any point during the summer by state or federal officials that we may not continue camp, we will issue a full refund for weeks that have not started and a pro rated amount if there is a cancellation mid week.**

Parents have the option to purchase a healthy hot lunch for their sailors for $50 for the week. You can add this on at check out.

Limited scholarships are available through the Youth Sailing Foundation of the Palm Beaches. Please submit as soon as possible as funding is limited and it is on a first come first served basis. Deadline May 27th.

5-7 years old - $225.00/wk
Half day 9:00a-noon
Weeks 3, 4, 6, and 7 only
Starfish is a half day program designed to introduce 5-7 year old children to the world of sailing. These half day one-week sessions are designed to introduce the younger sailors to have fun on and around the water. Activities are designed to build confidence on the water.
7-13 years old - $350.00/week
Sailors will learn the basics of sailing, point of sail, parts of the boat, rigging, knots, tacking and jibing. At the end of the week your sailor should be able to successfully rig launch sail and make it back to shore on their own.
This popular program is for sailors who have taken Opti Beginner previously and are looking for something a bit more advanced. In this course, we will continue to build on the basics as well as introducing roll tack and roll jibes along with other advanced sailing topics. Upon successful completion of this course a sailor MAY be invited to take Opti Advanced/ Race.

14-17 years old - $350.00/week
Sailors will learn the basics of sailing, point of sail, parts of the boat, rigging, knots, tacking a jibing. Sailors will be given a very basic swim check, while wearing a life jacket, to assess their comfort level in and around the water.
This popular program is for sailors who have taken beginner previously and are looking for something a bit more advanced. In this course, we will continue to build on the basics as well as introducing roll tack and roll jibes along with other advanced sailing topics. Upon successful completion of this course a sailor MAY be moved up to advanced/ race if they are a quick learner otherwise they will spend more than one week in intermediate.
